Position Summary

The Helicopter Maintenance Technician will perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on airframes, engines, and aircraft systems. The technician will conduct tests and make repairs to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. This position is based at Linate Airport, Milan.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily on Sikorsky S76 C++ helicopters, with opportunities to assist with the fixed-wing fleet as needed.
• Perform repairs and modifications on airframes and powerplants to meet company and regulatory standards.
• Remove, disassemble, replace, and test aircraft parts and systems.
• Operate necessary power tools and equipment.
• Accurately complete maintenance records, including time reporting.
• Support safety policies and programs, including OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Provide professional service to internal and external customers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• B1.3 license for rotary aircraft required (S76 type training provided).
• EASA License.
• Proven aviation experience, preferably with corporate aircraft.
• Good knowledge of EASA regulations: Part 145, Part M, Part CAMO, Part 21.

• Motivated, able to work under pressure and within deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task in a team environment.
• Proficient in Windows and MS Office.
• Proven inspection skills.

• Own set of hand tools preferred; specialized tooling provided by the company.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Work Environment

Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, mechanical parts, and vibration. Occasional exposure to extreme weather. Loud noise levels possible.

Physical Demands

Requires talking, hearing, standing, walking, handling, reaching, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 22.5 kg. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
