A leading aviation company is seeking an AOG Aircraft Maintenance Technician to manage aircraft maintenance and repairs. This position involves troubleshooting airframe and engine issues, documenting maintenance work, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates will have requisite licenses and substantial experience with corporate aircraft, as well as the ability to work under pressure in diverse environments.

Competenze

• Proven experience in aviation, particularly with corporate aircraft.
• Type ratings on GVI and EMB550 are desirable.
• Familiarity with EASA/UK CAA regulations is a plus.

The AOG Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairs including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems. The AMT will make repairs and conduct tests to keep equipment operating efficiently and safely. The AMT will need to be self-sufficient and often work in remote locations exposed to the elements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications required to meet company and regulatory requirements.
• Remove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install replacement parts and test aircraft systems.
• Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments.
• Complete all required maintenance records accurately, including reporting times required to accomplish tasks.
• Support all company policies and safety programs, including OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
• Maintain a clean and neat work area.
• Demonstrate professionalism and deliver satisfaction to internal and external customers.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• B1 or B1 / B2 License.
• UK CAA and EASA License.
• Proven experience directly related to aviation (corporate aircraft experience preferred).
• Type ratings on GVI and EMB550 are desired.
• Good working knowledge of EASA / UK CAA regulations: Part 145, Part M, Part CAMO, Part 21.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess the legal ability to work in Europe and/or the UK and have the ability to travel in and out of the UK/EU and US to all cities and countries where Flexjet serves.
• Highly motivated, able to work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
• Ability to multi-task within a team environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programs.
• Proven inspection competencies.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ideally own a set of hand tools; specialized aircraft tooling will be provided by the company.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing duties, employees are frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. Occasionally, employees may be exposed to extreme weather conditions. Noise levels can be loud.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands are representative of those required to perform essential functions:

• Regularly talk or hear; frequently stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently lift and move up to 5kg; occasionally lift and move up to 22.5kg.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to focus.
