Flexjet is seeking an AOG Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) based in Milano to troubleshoot, repair and test aircraft systems and structures. You will work in challenging environments, often in remote locations, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate holds B1/B2 licenses with UK CAA and EASA authorizations, has corporate aviation experience, and can travel across Europe and beyond as required.

Competenze

• Candidate must hold B1 or B1/B2 license and UK CAA/EASA licenses.
• Proven aviation maintenance experience on corporate aircraft preferred.
• Type ratings on GVI and EMB550 are desirable.
• Knowledge of EASA/UK CAA Part 145, Part M, CAMO, Part 21.
• Must be able to travel within Europe/UK/US as required.

Position Summary

The AMT will make repairs and conduct tests to keep equipment operating efficiently and safely. The AMT will need to be self sufficient and often be working in remote locations exposed to the elements.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform all airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications required to meet company and regulatory requirements


• Remove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install of replacement parts and testing aircraft system


• Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments


• Complete all required maintenance records in an accurate manner to include accurately reporting of times required to accomplish the tasks assigned


• Must support all company policies and safety programs to include OSHA and EPA regulations


• Interpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints


• Present a clean and neat work area


• Demonstrate professionalism and deliver satisfaction to the internal/external customer


• Perform other related duties & responsibilities as assigned

Education & Experience

• B1 or B1/B2 License


• UK CAA and EASA License


• Proven experience directly related aviation experience (corporate aircraft experience preferred)


• Type ratings on GVI and EMB550 desired


• Good working knowledge of EASA/UK CAA: Part 145, Part M, Part CAMO, Part 21

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must possess the legal ability to work in Europe and/or the UK and have the ability to travel in and out of the UK/EU and US and to all cities/countries where Flexjet serves.


• Successful candidate will be highly motivated and work effectively under pressure and time constraints


• Must have the ability to multi-task within a team environment


• Strong working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programs


• Possess proven inspection competencies


• Must be detail-oriented and well organized; demonstrate excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude


• Successful candidate will ideally have own set of hand tools. Specialized aircraft tooling will be furnished by the company


• Must maintain a valid driver’s license

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
