A leading engineering solutions provider seeks a Flange to Flange Mechanical Designer to contribute to various projects in their Florence office. This role involves modeling turbomachinery components, drafting, and applying standard procedures, set in a collaborative team environment. Ideal candidates are details-oriented with a passion for CAD design and a background in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

Competenze

• Technical Diploma or BSc/MSc in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering is required.
• Strong passion for CAD Design and solid knowledge about 2D drafting and 3D modelling.
• Availability for business travels (short & long term).

Mansioni

• Modeling simple and complex turbomachinery components.

FLANGE TO FLANGE MECHANICAL DESIGNER

Job location: Florence

The Mechanical Designer will be directly engaged in the engineering project activities, with increasing levels of autonomy and responsibility.

Tasks:
• Modeling simple and complex turbomachinery components
• Modeling simple and complex assemblies
• Drafting activity
• Learn, understand, and apply our Customer's standard procedures

Work Experience

Required Skills and Experience

Qualification Requirements:
• Technical Diploma or BSc / MSc Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering
• Strong passion for CAD Design
• Solid knowledge about 2D drafting and 3D modelling, and ability in using one or more CAD tools (i. e. Siemens NX, Solidworks, Catia V5 etc)
• Any turbomachinery knowledge will be advantageous but not mandatory
