Duties and Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise store staff, including sales associates, cashiers, and stockroom personnel. Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to maximize employee productivity and job satisfaction. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. Set clear expectations and goals for the team and motivate them to achieve targets.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets. Monitor and analyze sales figures, identify trends, and implement measures to optimize sales performance. Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained, resolving issues promptly. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure loyalty and repeat business.
  • Store Operations and Merchandising: Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing, cash management, and inventory control. Maintain a clean and organized environment. Use visual merchandising techniques to enhance product presentation. Manage inventory levels and product replenishment to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Financial Management: Manage the store's budget, including sales forecasts, expenses, and profitability. Monitor KPIs such as sales, gross margin, and labor costs. Analyze financial reports and implement corrective actions to improve financial performance. Control operational costs and wastage.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and legal regulations. Maintain a safe environment for staff and customers, following health and safety standards. Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to adapt strategies accordingly.

Minimum requirements include proven experience as a Store Manager or similar, strong leadership, excellent communication skills, retail operation knowledge, and proficiency in sales data analysis. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential. The position may offer a permanent contract, evaluated during the interview.
