Partner with the best

As a Fixture Manufacturing Engineer you will develop the role of Fixture Manufacturing Engineer in the Maintenance Cell of Florence plant.

You will be mainly involved in the design and construction of fixtures needed for machining and assembling activities for Nuovo Pignone srl Manufacturing.

You will be dedicated to assure Fixtures Quality and OTD, from the internal request to the delivery and play a key role in our manufacturing plan, prioritizing and expediting the delivery of fixtures to our workshop.

The mentioned role is critical to the efficiency, development, and progress of manufacturing operations. Working with Maintenance operation team, Manufacturing Engineers of production cells, external professionals and Contractors, you will improve fixtures design and procurement.

Responsibilities
  • Fixtures fulfilment, from design to supply;
  • Respect of assigned budget;
  • Assure HSE & Quality standards;
  • Implement improvements and corrective actions on Fixtures;
  • Analyze workshop feedbacks, to identify improvement opportunities;
To be successful in this role you will have
  • The capacity to understand a range of engineering functions and procedures.
  • Teamworking skills to work cooperatively and liaise with people at all levels.
  • Degree in a technical field from an accredited University (Mechanical Engineering) or a High School Diploma (Mechanical Diploma).
  • Ability in coordinating the job of external Contractors and engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Self-starter.
  • Ability to accomplish goals through collaborative efforts.
  • Manage the working time in a flexible way.
Desired Characteristics
  • Attitude toward teamwork and problem solving.
  • Compliance with health and safety legislation
  • Ability to read equipment manuals to identify repair method for failed components.
  • Good knowledge of IT tools.
