We\'re expanding senior sell-side coverage across priority regions to originate and execute in High Yield, stressed / distressed, EM and special situations — on a riskless-principal basis. This is not IG / rates and not a sales-trader role.

Product scope:

  • Stressed / distressed bonds & loans;
  • EM / LATAM opportunities;
  • AT1 / CoCos, corporate hybrids;
  • Senior & subordinated financials;
  • Covered, core & peripheral SSA;
  • Illiquids and selected ABS. Illustrative cases include legacy CS AT1 and select EM sovereign / corporate workouts (e.g., Venezuela / PDVSA, Argentina) where permitted by applicable laws, sanctions, and internal policies.

We\'re looking for seasoned producers who turn differentiated ideas into revenue and deepen Tier-1 buy-side relationships—executing strictly within our regulatory permissions and compliance standards.

Open roles (select your primary region)

We are hiring 3 Senior Institutional Credit Sales (MD, individual contributor) roles. Priority markets:

  • Italy — Senior Sales covering Italy and Italian-speaking clients.
  • France / Francophone — Senior Sales covering France and other Francophone markets (e.g. Luxembourg)
  • Germany / German-speaking — Senior Sales covering Germany and other German-speaking markets (e.g. Austria).

Secondary expansion (optional add-on coverage):

  • BENELUX and / or Nordics;
  • CEE considered.

Location: Milan, Italy

What you\'ll do

  • Own senior client coverage in your region; maintain and expand a network of real-money, hedge funds, private banks, and family offices.
  • Originate & close across HY, stressed / distressed bonds & loans, post-reorg situations; deploy hybrids & sub-Fins when accretive. Not IG / rates.
  • Run your book: craft ideas with Trading & Research, set pricing, coordinate execution, and ensure clean, timely settlement—riskless-principal (this is not a sales-trader role).
  • Collaborate globally with colleagues in the UK / US to maximize cross-border idea flow and capital velocity.

The platform you\'ll leverage

  • Agency-based, client-first model designed to avoid conflicts; riskless-principal execution with seasoned legal & settlements support.
  • Deep distribution to global institutional investors; block-trade capability in liquid & illiquid securities.
  • Differentiated desk analysis focused on distressed & special situations; seamless USEU execution from London & Milan.

What you bring

  • Sell-side prerequisite (broker-dealer / investment firm). Buy-side profiles are not in scope.
  • 5+ years as senior institutional credit sales (exclude internship / analyst / associate years).
  • Portable, monetizable relationships in HY / stressed / distressed / special situations.
  • Languages: English at professional level (C1+). Plus one of Italian, French, or German aligned to your coverage. Italian is a plus for all roles (Milan base). Nordics / CEE languages are an advantage.
  • Results-driven, ethical, collaborative; strong compliance mindset.
