Description of the research activity:
The ‘tecnologo/la tecnologa’ will perform tasks in support of the research activities listed below: (1) leading a critical review of local agricultural practices and the food value system through multi-stakeholder consultations, (2) drawing inspiration from the South Tyrolean rich natural and cultural heritage to identify and characterize relevant innovations based on sustainable traditional practices for agroecological landscapes, (3) facilitating multi-stakeholder dialogues to formulate a local vision for the agri-food system, (4) co-developing a local innovation concept based on identified and discussed 'TradINNOVAtions', further refining them into regional and transferable actor-based strategies in the Living Lab, and (5) piloting and optimizing the co-developed strategies on organic farming and the sustainable use of traditional medicinal plants accompanied by reflective adaptation loops to ensure responsive adjustments to local and regional visions and policy interventions.
