Techproject S.r.l. in Italy seeks an experienced Fire Safety Engineer to join our design team in Rome and Milan.

You will design fire protection systems, prepare technical reports, and coordinate with Fire Brigade authorities to obtain approvals. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering, 2+ years of fire safety experience, and knowledge of relevant codes and fire protection software; strong MS Office skills are required.

• Certified fire safety professional registration with Italian authorities.
• At least 2 years of fire safety and protection design experience.
• Knowledge of Italian Fire Prevention Code and applicable regulations.

Techproject S.r.l. is an engineering company with offices in Rome and Milan, operating at both national and international level in the design, construction supervision, safety, and management of complex projects in the infrastructure, transportation, and civil construction sectors.

Our multidisciplinary team provides integrated services covering the entire project lifecycle: from planning to detailed design, from managing approval and permitting processes to providing support during construction.

The Role

To strengthen our design team, we are looking for an experienced Fire Safety Engineer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• designing fire protection systems and installations;
• preparing technical reports and drawings in support of fire protection system design;
• managing relationships with the Fire Brigade Authorities and other competent bodies throughout the approval and permitting process.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification;
• registration in the lists of the Italian Ministry of the Interior pursuant to Law No. 818/1984 as a certified fire safety professional;
• at least 2 years of experience in fire safety and fire protection design;
• knowledge of the Italian Fire Prevention Code and relevant national and international regulations and standards;
• proficiency in at least one of the main fire protection design software packages;
• good command of the Microsoft Office suite.
