Fire Protection Project Engineer

The ideal candidate has more than 3 years of experience in similar roles within EPC contractors or engineering firms and is able to work effectively within multidisciplinary and structured engineering teams. They will be responsible for the fire safety strategy and execution, as well as the management of fire protection and detection within the energy-from-waste sector.

Responsibilities

• Coordination and preparation of conceptual and basic engineering, considering internal and external interfaces;
• Responsible for supplier selection, purchase orders, and expediting during detail engineering;
• Active collaboration with layout engineering, and other engineering disciplines;
• Providing support during the construction phase.

Requirements

• Bachelor / Master’s degree or technical apprenticeship;
• Experience with NFPA code;
• Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills;
• Experience in dealing with suppliers and in procuring complex systems;
• Good knowledge of English.
