We are seeking a Junior Commissioning and Service Engineer specializing in Fire Safety, Intrusion, Access Control, and CCTV systems to join our Services Smart Infrastructure division at our headquarters in Milan. This is a permanent position.
Siemens Smart Infrastructure acts as a technology partner, service and product provider, and system integrator. We offer solutions related to personal safety, building security and automation, and climate management.
The role involves commissioning activities for new installations and maintenance on existing sites, mainly at production or construction sites in Italy and abroad. The position includes technical training and on-the-job coaching with expert technicians, offering opportunities for professional and technical growth in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform technical tasks such as programming, commissioning, and integrating products and systems, including third-party components into Siemens BMS, and maintenance tasks.
- Support and commission using innovative digital tools developed by headquarters.
- Provide remote and onsite support to customers and troubleshoot issues.
- Coordinate on-site operations and delivery activities, ensuring adherence to organizational guidelines.
- Monitor and control project progress, following best practices and Siemens policies.
- Participate in technical design and development for commissioning and service offerings.
- Comply with health, safety, and environmental policies applicable to each location.
Candidate Profile
To be a good fit, you should have:
- Technical High School Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Information Technologies, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of UNI 9795 and 11224 standards.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems, IP networks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read electrical panel diagrams.
- Passion for technological innovation, problem management, and effective prioritization.
- Target-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction, initiative, autonomy, and teamwork.
- Availability for frequent business trips within Italy and internationally.
- Proficiency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Legal eligibility to work in Italy.
