Satispay is seeking a Fincrime Analyst to lead real-time monitoring of transactions and detect illicit activity across its ecosystem, based in Lombardia with relocation to Luxembourg. You will review alerts, elevate complex cases, and feed detection insights back to product and data teams.

You will mentor junior analysts, optimize workflows, and ensure compliance through well-documented case handling while shaping scalable risk controls for a growing payments platform.

Competenze

• 3+ years in transaction monitoring, real-time fraud, or KYT surveillance.

In this Fincrime Analyst role, you will lead real-time monitoring to detect and contain fraudulent and illicit activity across Satispay’s ecosystem. You’ll work within a fast-paced Fincrime Operations team to review alerts, elevate complex cases, and feed detection insights back to product and data teams. You’ll optimize workflows, mentor junior analysts, and ensure compliant, well-documented case handling. This role offers impact on how we scale risk controls for a growing financial platform.

• High-Volume Alert Review & Resolution: analyze and resolve transaction monitoring alerts for swift, accurate decisions
• Advanced Escalation Handling: serve as primary contact for complex alerts and determine next steps
• Detection Logic Feedback Loop: translate alert insights into actionable rules for Product/Data teams
• Process & Workflow Optimization: identify bottlenecks and propose improvements to reduce false positives
• Mentorship on the Line: coach and onboard junior analysts on transaction analysis and case documentation
• Compliance & Airtight Documentation: ensure resolutive rationale is clear, concise, and regulatory-compliant
• Typology Hunting: own a monitoring focal area and translate trends into production-ready detection rules
• 3+ years in transaction monitoring, real-time fraud, or KYT surveillance in fintechs or high-volume payment environments
• Subject matter expertise in transaction monitoring principles, payment flows, velocity patterns, and regulatory frameworks (FATF, EU Directives, PSD3/SCA)
• Data literacy with internal analytics tools (Looker, Splunk, HEX, Redshift) and basic SQL
• Track record in identifying gaps in detection models and turning them into concrete monitoring scenarios
• Leadership and coaching ability to uplift team performance
• Analytical communication skills to present complex data clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
