We are looking for a Financial Performance Manager (FPM) to be hired in Milan, being the key strategic partner to business leadership, driving financial excellence and business performance through data-driven decision making. This role bridges financial analytics with operational insights to optimize company performance and profitability.

Your Challenge

As a Financial Project Manager you will be responsible for analyzing, monitoring, reporting and optimizing the organization's financial performance through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations. Your main activities will be to:

1. Drive monthly closing activities and reporting to local Management, Region and Headquarters.
2. Lead the budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, including variance analysis.
3. Prepare stakeholder-oriented reporting packages to support decision making.
4. Lead the Finance & Controlling Function into the digital age by e.g. implementing robotic operational improvements and automation, data analytics, Dashboards and by optimization of the existing local/ regional reporting tools.
5. Identify cost optimization opportunities.
6. Drive performance review process, analyzing actuals.
7. Cost Center Controlling for Support Functions.
8. Develop and maintain financial models to track KPIs and business metrics.
9. Support on audit reviews.

To be a perfect fit for this role, you have:

1. At least 4 years' experience in financial performance management functions.
2. Strong knowledge of accounting and reporting principles.
3. Proven experience in use of SAP, nice to have experience in Business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau).
4. Have a proficient knowledge in English.
5. Strong analytical, planning skills, Critical thinking and ability to proactively propose improvement actions.
6. Leadership and team collaboration; communication and presentation skills.
7. Passion to never-stop growing.
