eBay Italy is seeking a fixed-term Accounting & FP&A professional to support core accounting and financial planning across designated divisions, assist with month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with Italian electronic invoicing.

You will work with the Accounting Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting, maintain internal controls, and contribute to process improvements aligned with OIC and IVA rules, VAT and tax requirements.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC) and IVA rules.
• Experience with Italian electronic invoicing (XML/Italy rules).

Mansioni

• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reviews, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Participate in the monthly financial close for assigned entities, validating accounting assumptions and financial information.
• Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting, providing financial analysis to inform planning.
• Analyze financial results to identify trends, variances, and drivers, and prepare reporting packages.
• Support monthly invoicing and Italian electronic invoicing compliance, including XML data generation and submission per regulations.
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies and internal controls; support corrective actions.
• Contribute to process improvements and finance projects; develop knowledge of financial systems and data structures.
