Diesel is a truly worldwide organization. It is present in more than 80 countries with 5,000 points of sale, including more than 400 company owned stores.

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

At Diesel Headquarters located in Breganze (Italy), we are looking for a Financial Controller, who will be placed within the HQ Finance department and be responsible to support the Group Financial Controlling Manager in monthly closing, budget, forecasts, business planning processes and implementation of new financial and economic tools.

The role’s main responsibilities are:

REPORTING AND CONSOLIDATION

• Support the preparation of internal monthly reports, annual Budget and periodic Forecasts
• Analyze data and variances, assisting the Financial Controlling Manager in interpreting the Group's economic and financial trends
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation activities
• Collaborate with Regional Controlling Teams during periodic closings
• Support the Financial Controlling Manager and the Finance team with ad-hoc analysis.

FINANCIAL PLANNING & CONTROL

• Contribute to financial and economic analysis of current results
• Support monthly cash forecast analysis, focusing on working capital and cash conversion
• Participate in preparing internal currency balance for Budget and Forecast processes

SUBSIDIARIES CONTROL

• Interface with Diesel Group subsidiaries to coordinate financial planning processes
• Contribute to monitoring and analyzing subsidiaries' financial statements

FINANCIAL PROCESSES AND TOOLS

• Collaborate with the IT department to optimize financial processes
• Contribute to developing BI reports and AI solutions

Main interfaces:

You will be part of Diesel HQ Finance Team, report to the Group Financial Controlling Manager and work closely with:

• OTB Corporate Finance department;
• Regional Controlling teams at a global level;
• Operations and Business Controlling departments;
• Global Sales Planning team.

What requirements you need to have:

• 3-5 year experience in a similar role, with a particular focus on financial processes and financial controlling of foreign subsidiaries.
• Degree in Economics and/or Finance, strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Determination to achieve the objectives, flexibility, enthusiasm, ability to problem solving.
• Attention to data accuracy while improving process efficiency
• Knowledge of controlling and data mining tools, advanced use of Excel (pivots, macros). Proficiency with Hyperion, Board and SAP would be preferred
• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of consolidation processes and Piteco will be considered a plus but are not essential requirements.
