Job Responsibilities

The role will support the Financial Reporting and Consolidation team and will be responsible for a certain number of foreign subsidiaries.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Constant interface with foreign subsidiaries in order to coordinate and support them on accounting/finance/compliance topics;
  • Analysis and implementation of the new accounting standards and interpretations under IFRS in the Group’s financial statements, including the preparation of proper instructions for the subsidiaries;
  • Analysis of specific transactions in order to define the proper accounting treatment;
  • Review and analysis of the quarterly reporting package, together with the subsidiaries financial controllers;
  • Drafting the consolidation accounting entries according to IAS/IFRS standards for quarterly and annual closing;
  • Collaborating on the quarterly and annual closing processes and on the preparation of the consolidated financial statement.
Job Profile
Qualifications, Knowledges
  • Master Degree in Economics and Management, Finance;
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a multinational company and/or in a consulting firm.
Skills, capabilities, competencies
  • Knowledge of IAS/IFRS standards (Group Reporting expertise will be considered a plus)
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in relation to the use of Excel, PowerPoint and the SAP system;
  • Teamwork, problem solving, flexibility;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally;
  • Fluent in English (other languages are appreciated)
