Una multinazionale nel settore Oil & Gas cerca un Finance Specialist - Project Control presso la sua filiale di Firenze. In questo ruolo chiave, lavorerai a stretto contatto con il team di Project Management per analizzare i costi dei progetti, garantire la governance e contribuire all'innovazione attraverso la digitalizzazione e semplificazione dei processi. È richiesta una laurea in Economia e almeno 2 anni di esperienza nel settore.

Finance Specialist - Project Control

for a major multinational company operating in the Oil & Gas sector.

We offer an initial 12-month temporary contract with the possibility of direct placement in the company.

CCNL Metalworking Industry, level B2-B1, commensurate with the candidate's experience, plus meal vouchers.

Possibility of smart working.

To be successful in this role you will :

  • Have a Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university or college;
  • Relevant working experience, preferably in the finance team of a multinational company;
  • Have experience with Financial systems (Oracle, OBEII);

  • Ability to think strategically and with an entrepreneurial mindset;
  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex issues within a matrix organization.

The E&P Project Controller is a key member of the Equipment & Projects Finance team,

partnering closely with the Project Management organization. The role requires leveraging data

and analysis to drive decision-making, with a continuous focus on simplification of processes

and precision while ensuring controllership governance.

Our Finance Team provides support and insight for the business through planning, analyzing,

and reporting. We use extensive data to aid important decision-making that impacts our

global organization and to identify areas for improvement. Our team innovates through

digitization to constantly improve the value we provide.

As GTE Project Controller, you will be responsible for :

  • Partnering with Project Managers to provide governance and control on project costs
  • Leading Project Margin Reviews to define the project margin for revenue recognition
  • Assessing exposures, risks, and opportunities to the cost estimates and requirements for specific reserves
  • Performing detailed variance analysis versus budgets and benchmarks to identify productivity opportunities
  • Contributing to strategic digitization & simplification projects as a team leader or member (e.g., systems implementation, cross-functional processes, RPA)
  • Conducting other duties as assigned.
