Finance Specialist Italy

Carhartt WIP is part of the WIP Trading AG. Our family-owned business group started as a licensee and European distributor of the US workwear manufacturer Carhartt in the early 1990s. Since then, it develops its own collections based on workwear originals.

Carhartt Work In Progress aims to continuously progress and evolve, without ever losing sight of its origins. Over the course of the past two decades, our business has developed organically, along with its customers, the culture that surrounds the brand, and its employees who have helped shape what Carhartt WIP is today.

For our office in Milan we are looking for you as Finance Specialist Italy (m/f/x).

Your Responsibilities:

• Processing of all accounting transactions

• Booking and preparing the monthly accounts based on Italian GAAP

• Creating the value added tax settlements

• Preparing and reporting financial budgets and forecasts to our head office

• Ensuring adequate cashflow (cash planning)

• Reviewing sand records invoices, expenses and credit card statements

• Being first contact person for internals and externals regarding all finance topics in Italy

Your Profile:

• University degree in business administration, economics or finance with recognized accounting qualification (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)

• Relevant work experience in accounting as well as professional financial background

• Proficiency with MS Office and computerized financial systems, such as accounting programs, databases, payment processing, excel spreadsheets, etc.

• High IT-affinity

• Flexibility, adaptability and willingness to take on a wide range of tasks

• Ability to work independent with little supervision, accurate and reliable

• Fluent in Italian and English
