FINANCE SPECIALIST - FP&A OPERATIONS

for a major multinational company operating in the Oil & Gas sector.

We offer : an initial 12 month temporary contract with the possibility of direct placement in the company. CCNL Metalworking Industry, RAL 34.000€ - 35.000€.

Benefit : possibility of smart working.

Workplace : Florence

Responsibilities

  • provide overall financial leadership and support to the operational teams for project execution;
  • drive further operational accountability through establishing and tracking regional Sales and Contribution Margin targets;
  • drive rigor on Cash (Past dues, Cash Collections, Bill & Cash) to maximize results for the responsible region(s);
  • perform Project Margin reviews for cost tracking & project execution progress;
  • manage local ledgers & drive simplification;
  • pro-actively provide financial Risk and Opportunities information to the business in the weekly meetings;
  • play a key role in the formal planning sessions (QMI, AP, MRP, Business reviews);
  • ensure compliance to Revenue Recognition policy. Liaise with Controllership where needed;
  • play a key role in the financial closes, ensure close cooperation and coordination with the finance & operating teams;
  • support internal / external audits;
  • responsible for providing recurring or ad hoc data requests.

Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree;
  • proven experience in financial planning and analysis;
  • strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data;
  • excellent communication and collaboration skills;
  • experience with financial systems and transformation projects;
  • the ability to work independently and as part of a team is also essential.
