  • General Position Description

The Finance Manager will provide accounting and business administration support to the Regional Manager, Program Managers, and Project Teams for construction jobs operating in the European Union. The position reports to the CFO but day-to-day activities and deliverables will be managed by the Regional Manager. This is a hands-on role that requires understanding of percent complete accounting and will need to partner with cross functional team members and represent the Finance function.

Travel throughout Europe and to Orlando Headquarters will be required.

  • Responsibilities
  • Prepare consolidated financial reporting of jobs operating in the region
  • Prepare and manage regional overhead and general and administrative budgets
  • Prepare cash forecasts
  • Assist Project Manager and Project Coordinator with EAC reviews, cost reporting and billing and cost forecasting
  • Partner with local tax, accounting, banking and payroll providers to ensure compliance, timely and accurate reporting and filings.
  • Provide financial recommendations and assist with identifying risks and opportunities in job and indirect forecasts
  • Monitor expenditures
  • Leverage system and tools to create efficiencies and contribute to the ability to provide accurate and timely financial results
  • Ensure accurate setup of financial systems in field offices
  • Ensure financial compliance and maintain work instructions and process flows related to finance and accounting responsibilities
  • Led efforts for European expansion in obtaining requirements and initial setup for doing business in other countries, including registrations, tax and banking requirements.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and experience with percent complete and multi-currency accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • A demonstrated commitment to customer service
  • Experience in high-growth companies and comfort working on a fast-paced team with changing priorities including ability to handle multiple projects and produce timely, quality work
  • Independent / flexible problem-solver with the ability to adapt as the business grows
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills to interact with various levels of management and build influential relationships with partners throughout the business
  • Experience with VAT reporting and requirement
