YOUR TASKS

1. Managing a team of two accountants, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily operations.
2. Liaising with the Shared Service Center in Poland and HQ in Basel, Switzerland, ensuring smooth financial coordination and compliance.
3. Overseeing general accounting and tax compliance, ensuring adherence to Italian financial regulations.
4. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
5. Treasury management, overseeing cash flow and financial risk mitigation.
6. Collaborating with the Global Controlling Team on budget preparation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
7. Cash planning and authorization of payments, ensuring financial stability and control.
8. Managing external consultants, ensuring compliance and optimization of financial operations.
9. Establishing and implementing financial processes specific to Italy, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and best practices in local operations.
10. Supporting the CFO in developing financial reports for shareholders.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

1. Master’s degree in economics, Finance, or a related field.
2. At least 6 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the retail industry.
3. Fluent in both Italian and English.
4. Strong knowledge of SAP and Excel.
5. Deep understanding of financial processes, with the ability to implement and optimize procedures, particularly in the Italian market.
6. Experience in managing small teams is a plus.
7. Prior experience collaborating with external operational sites is highly appreciated.
