About the role:
The Finance Director for the Southern Europe Business Unit of Haleon will play a critical role in establishing and growing the company in this region. The ideal candidate is an experienced and proven financial leader, with a successful tenure as a Business Unit or market CFO.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Performance Management: Work closely with the business to drive financial performance, ensure transparency for analysis and insights, develop frameworks to generate value, challenge plans, identify cost-saving opportunities, and oversee planning and budgeting processes.
Financial Reporting & Control: Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reports, maintain internal controls, and manage risk.
Tax, Treasury: Manage working capital, cash flow forecasting, financial resources, and optimize tax policies with a low-risk approach.
Corporate Finance: Lead regional M&A activities, including target identification, due diligence, negotiations, and post-merger integration.
External Relationships: Support external reputation, build stakeholder relationships, and drive ESG initiatives.
Risk Management & Internal Audit: Manage risks, adhere to governance standards, approve financial commitments.
Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with leadership to drive competitiveness, performance, and long-term growth, contributing to strategic direction.
