A great opportunity to join as a Finance Director at a luxury 5-star hotel in Merano, Italy.

Responsibilities

1. Supervise administrative accounting employees across functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Purchasing, Audit, Payroll, and Accounting Operations.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent, with 5-10 years of experience in accounting or auditing within the hotel industry. At least 1-7 years should be in a Finance Director or similar role in Italy, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Knowledge of accounting management duties such as negotiating hotel space and lease agreements; payroll processing; resource management; preparing business projections, displacement analysis, government reports, tax returns, etc. A professional designation or certification in accounting or finance is preferred.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

1. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
2. Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with a good understanding of financial valuation methodology.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
