The ideal candidate has extensive experience in finance within a dynamic environment and must possess strong analytical, communication, and planning skills. This role involves managing a team and collaborating closely with corporate finance, making it a central position for business success.

Competenze

• Strong financial/accounting experience in an international, fast-growing company.
• Experience in VAT exempt businesses is a plus.
• Fluent in English is strictly requested.

Overview

Our client is part of a leading international company in the services sector. For the Italian branch we are looking for the :

Finance Director

Responsibilities

• Establish finance as a true ‘business partner’; provide real value through the provision of quality, timely and accurate information, highlighting issues and trends;
• Ensure external reporting is of the highest quality – group reporting, statutory accounts and other presentations as needed;
• Act as financial advisor to the Country Manager, supporting strategic decisions (expansion, investments, M&A, new academies).
• Maintain strong coordination with the corporate finance team, ensuring consistency in policies, processes, and reporting.
• Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring robust financial governance.
• Manage and develop the local finance team, fostering talent and capabilities.
• Drive improvements in financial systems and tools, contributing to global efficiency.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has already had a strong financial / accounting experience within an international, dynamic, fast growing scaleup company operating within services sector. Experience in VAT exempt businesses is a plus.

We’d like to meet analytical and structured person with strong communication skills, good planning and coordination skills, able to motivate and encourage colleagues in professional network.
