Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our growing Europe Finance team and lead the financial operations in Italy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and reporting of financial statements for both corporate and local statutory/tax purposes.
  • Ensure full compliance with Italy tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory and group audits.
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Oversee general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Process Oversight

  • Independently manage finance responsibilities by closely coordinating with other departments to gather necessary information and ensure accurate accounting data input. Oversee and improve financial workflows and internal controls to maintain reporting accuracy and support operational efficiency.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support the preparation of budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial planning to drive business decisions.

Project Finance & Business Support

  • Oversee project financial performance, cost allocation, and contract compliance to support business operations.

Stakeholder collaboration

  • Work closely with finance, business teams, and external partners to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field - CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of finance or accounting experience, including experience in a consulting firm (Big 4 experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of accounting, tax, and financial reporting, familiar with both Local IFRS and/or US GAAP.
  • Proven ability to independently manage finance tasks through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (Microsoft dynamic), and financial reporting tools.
  • Fluent in Italian and English
