Job summary

Greif is seeking a Final Assembly Operator for 1st shift on our production floor to help manufacture high-quality steel drums. You will follow work instructions, operate and adjust equipment, inspect outputs, and maintain clean, safe work areas in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Entry-level applicants are welcome as on-the-job training is provided. Schedule is Monday–Friday with potential extended hours based on production needs; weekends are voluntary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-1 year of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• No previous machine operation experience required; training provided.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist with setup of production and assembly equipment.
• Follow job specifications, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and report equipment concerns.
• Maintain accurate production records and report defects.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
