Filler Aseptic Automation Engineer

Your Opportunity

Join our Service Engineering Department as a Filler Aseptic Automation Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in automation activities across our SIDEL portfolio and other filler systems. This position focuses on aseptic fillers, providing an opportunity to deepen your expertise and expand your knowledge of both new and legacy Sidel filler and mixer machines. As a team referent, you will collaborate closely with colleagues and report to the Local Manager, impacting our operations significantly. Your Mission

• Manage development of service automation software (standard and safety) from inception to field test and customer support.
• Manage and develop software modifications to implement improvements on installed machines, from development to support.
• Adhere to guidelines and rules in software development.
• Work closely with hardware, PLC, and HMI teams.
• Procure all technical documents related to software.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of electrical design, PLC, and HMI design.

Your Profile

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field and be fluent in Italian and English to communicate effectively in our diverse environment. Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and SAP is essential to streamline operations. You should have expertise in SIDEL filler Aseptic systems (Combi or Standalone), familiarity with PLC platforms like Siemens S7 and B&R, and HMI systems such as Zenon, along with motion control platforms from Danfoss, ELAU, and B&R. We value customer-oriented individuals with strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to deadlines, and the ability to collaborate effectively. Rigor, integrity, autonomy, and organizational skills are essential, along with a genuine desire to learn and grow. Willingness to travel is also required.
