Job summary

Weatherford is seeking a skilled field technician to safely prepare, deploy, operate, and recover Thru Tubing equipment for fishing, milling, clean-out, and remedial well interventions. The role demands hands-on experience, troubleshooting ability, and coordination with client representatives and field crews.

Salary starts at EUR 33,000 gross per year with benefits. The candidate will supervise operations, lead fishing tasks, and ensure equipment readiness on site, while promoting safety culture

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of oil & gas field experience in Thru-Tubing/Coiled Tubing/ Well Intervention.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; able to read tool drawings, schematics and procedures.
• Experience with fishing, milling, clean-out operations and setting/retrieval tasks.
• Good English communication (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute Thru Tubing well intervention operations per programs and HSE standards.
• Lead fishing operations using jars, overshots, pulling tools, and related assemblies.
• Supervise milling and clean-out operations with hydraulic motors, mills and related tools.
• Deploy and operate inflatable and mechanical plugs, packers, cement retainers, and related isolation equipment.
• Coordinate deployment/recovery of Thru Tubing assemblies using CT, drill pipe, slickline and E-line.
• Review programs to select BHAs according to well conditions and objectives.
• Coordinate prep, inspection, assembly, testing and maintenance of Thru Tubing equipment.
• Ensure operations are conducted safely and reports are prepared accurately.
