Field Service Engineer – Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at IMI Remosa and support industrial projects worldwide. The ideal candidate should be prepared for frequent international travel, with assignments typically lasting from 1 week up to 2 months. In rare cases, assignments may extend beyond 2 months. On average, the role involves approximately 210 days per year onsite. Please note that this position involves working exclusively at our clients' locations around the world, with no fixed office location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting, fault analysis, and maintenance on electrohydraulic control systems controlled by PLCs, cabinets, and control loops.
• Interpret and work with electrical, hydraulic, and P&ID schematics for accurate diagnostics and repairs.
• Manage and program PLCs and HMIs from leading manufacturers such as Rockwell and Siemens.
• Work with industrial communication networks including Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, and Ethernet.
• Operate effectively under pressure, adapting to challenging onsite environments and schedules.
• Collaborate with international teams, communicating technical issues and solutions clearly in English.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in field service or similar roles in industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and P&ID schematics.
• Familiarity with communication protocols: Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet.
• Hands-on experience with PLC/HMI programming (Rockwell, Siemens preferred).
• Ability to travel extensively (approximately 210 days per year).
• Excellent stress management and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of Italian and English, both written and spoken.
