VRV, a Chart Industries group company, is a historic and significant industrial entity operating internationally. It specializes in the design and manufacture of pressure equipment for the Oil & Gas sectors, engineering and manufacturing of isolation tanks for gas distribution and storage in the Cryogenic sector, and operates in the Automotive HLNG business.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be

1. Provide technical support during repair and/or installation at customer sites to ensure quality standards are met and equipment integrity is maintained.
2. Follow safe work practices, report safety incidents and near misses promptly, and aim for zero lost time incidents.
3. Suggest process and procedure improvements to enhance customer response times and data accuracy.
4. Deliver timely and continuous quality service to customers via phone or site visits as needed.
5. Coordinate with managers on customer communication.
6. Provide technical support and training on equipment use and maintenance to customers.
7. Coordinate contact with all levels of supervision.
8. Troubleshoot control systems.
9. Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and plumbing schematics; utilize troubleshooting tools and meters.
10. Perform and coordinate quality tests as per work instructions, engineering, or supervisor directives to ensure product quality.
11. Install equipment such as bulk tanks, pipes, vaporizers, skids, dosers, etc.

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

1. Technical diploma or certification, preferably related to welding.
2. Prior experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role in the oil and gas industry.
3. Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and field service.
4. Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and plumbing schematics.
5. Ability to work well independently and in teams.
6. Proficiency in reading and understanding detailed blueprints.
7. Fluent in English.
8. Basic knowledge of industrial controls and PLCs.
9. Basic understanding of cryogenic liquids, gases, and thermodynamics.
10. At least 3 years of relevant technical experience, including millwright, maintenance engineering, or field service roles.
11. Willingness to travel frequently and work in varying environmental conditions.
