KNAPP Italia is looking for a Field Service Technician (Electromechanics)

Join our field service team working across Italy's distribution centers. Your role involves conducting periodic inspections, promptly addressing breakdowns, and ensuring maximum plant availability and customer satisfaction. You will be a key contact for our customers.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Perform breakdown maintenance on automated systems for Italian clients.
  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and document incident reports.
  • Implement improvements, repairs, and modifications.
  • Write breakdown reports detailing events affecting system performance.
  • Coordinate with customers and internal technical teams.
  • Assist in project installation and support remote troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • Technical experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of complex automation systems.
  • Good knowledge of automation boards and instrumentation.
  • High responsibility and awareness of business criticality.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Comfort with providing remote support.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • Willingness to travel most of the time within Italy.
