• Ability to read and understand process and instrumentation diagrams.
• Experience with mechanical components and assemblies.
• Knowledge in motors, low voltage instrumentation, and troubleshooting.

• Installation and commissioning of machinery/equipment.
• Advise customers on equipment maintenance.

The Field Service Engineer job will involve:

Field Service Engineer capable of carrying out service, maintenance and breakdown repairs on specialist machinery and equipment.
Working on the installation and commissioning of existing and new machinery/equipment.
Advise customers on the maintenance of equipment and associated parts.
This Field Service Engineer job will suit:

Ability to read and understand process and instrumentation diagrams
Mechanically competent – able to carry out maintenance work on mechanical components and assemblies (fitter support will be provided for major works) – essential
Good electrical knowledge – motors, low voltage instrumentation, loop controls, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
PLC knowledge (ABB and Siemens) would be useful (to fault finding/bug fixing level)
Electrically qualified to at least ONC, ideally HNC level
