Position Summary

The Field Service Engineer will play a key role in supporting advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment at the customer’s sites. Working as part of a dedicated service team, the engineer will provide expert installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance services to ensure optimal equipment performance and customer success.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Perform on-site equipment installations, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance for advanced semiconductor manufacturing systems.
2. Act as the primary technical interface representing the service provider to the end customer.
3. Manage a portfolio of installed equipment, ensuring operational excellence and timely issue resolution.
4. Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams and customer representatives to analyze and resolve technical challenges.
5. Conduct system retrofits, upgrades, and provide operator training to enhance customer proficiency.
6. Support continuous improvement initiatives to drive customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile

1. Minimum of 5 years of field service experience, ideally within the semiconductor or high-tech equipment sectors.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
3. Proven expertise in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex manufacturing equipment.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining a strong focus on customer needs.
5. Exceptional communication skills to effectively interface with both internal teams and external customers.
6. Willingness to travel internationally on short notice to support critical customer requirements.
