A leading global service provider is seeking a talented Field Service Engineer to support its client, a major player in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. Position Summary

The Field Service Engineer will play a key role in supporting advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment at the customer’s sites. Working as part of a dedicated service team, the engineer will provide expert installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance services to ensure optimal equipment performance and customer success.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site equipment installations, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance for advanced semiconductor manufacturing systems.
  • Act as the primary technical interface representing the service provider to the end customer.
  • Manage a portfolio of installed equipment, ensuring operational excellence and timely issue resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams and customer representatives to analyze and resolve technical challenges.
  • Conduct system retrofits, upgrades, and provide operator training to enhance customer proficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to drive customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 5 years of field service experience, ideally within the semiconductor or high-tech equipment sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven expertise in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex manufacturing equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining a strong focus on customer needs.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively interface with both internal teams and external customers.
  • Willingness to travel internationally on short notice to support critical customer requirements.
