Job summary

TOMRA is hiring a Field Service Engineer to support customers in Central and Southern Italy, with travel across Italy and some international trips. Training provided at our Germany center and on-the-job support from experienced colleagues.

Ideal candidates are based in Campania, Puglia or Molise, with a technical background and strong electrical/troubleshooting skills. A company car, laptop, phone and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Secondary technical school (FP2) or higher in electrician/electronics/automation or related field.
• Willingness to travel 80% or more.
• Experience in on-site preventive and curative maintenance is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in PC configuration and network structures.
• Native Italian and proficient in English.
• Valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain TOMRA sorting equipment at customer sites.
• Ensure maximum performance of sorting systems in the field.
• Deliver excellent customer experiences through clear communication and support.
• Sample and test to optimize sorting processes.
• Identify opportunities to add value with TOMRA products, solutions, and services.
• Act as liaison between customers and Headquarters, feeding back market insights.
