We're looking for a Senior Field Service Engineer for the North East of Italy to help us elevate the company to the next level.
As an expert professional in your area, you will ensure assistance aimed at customer satisfaction for all Sysmex products and solutions in the assigned geographic area. You will be a member of the regional technical service team.
Main Objectives:
- Ensure uptime of the installed instrument base in your assigned geographic area.
- Build professional relationships with end-users and laboratory stakeholders.
- Perform troubleshooting both in person and remotely.
- Execute reactive and proactive service activities at customer sites and remotely.
Field Service Engineer North East
- Perform pre-installation visits and planning meetings with customers.
- Carry out pre-installation at the Sysmex workshop and installations at customer sites.
- Provide basic technical and maintenance training to end-users.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance visits according to Sysmex procedures.
- Plan proactive activities and regular visits to key customers.
- Report field activities and instrument status.
- Keep lab directors informed about service deliverables and instrument status.
- Organize regular meetings with key end-users to highlight the value of the service.
- Ensure all customer-related records are up-to-date.
- Accurately record service activities in Sysmex CRM.
- Ensure customer satisfaction across all post-sales phases.
- Collaborate with commercial teams on new tenders and business opportunities.
- Coordinate with other support functions at field, national, and EMEA levels.
Job Requirements
- Work experience in clinical diagnostics.
- University degree or equivalent in engineering.
- Advanced certification in electronics or equivalent industry experience.
- Technical knowledge of electronic equipment, preferably IVD.
- Proficiency in PC tools and software applications.
- Languages: fluent Italian and professional English.
General Professional Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience as an FSE in the medical device industry.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under stressful situations.
- Effective communication skills with end-users.
- Experience with hematology, urinalysis, and haemostasis instruments is a plus.
