We\'re currently seeking a Service Engineer to join our dynamic team in regions of Lombardy and Piedmont, province of Pavia and/or Alessandria, supporting critical systems that make a real difference in people\'s lives.

What you’ll do at Elekta

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Elekta products across the region. You will work independently under general supervision to perform planned and corrective maintenance, resolve faults of intermediate complexity, and provide exceptional service to our customers. This is a home-based position with frequent travel across the BU and cluster regions.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance and emergency repairs on Elekta systems.
• Independently troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues, including HT/RF power generation, vacuum, and gas systems.
• Adjust radiation beams and components to ensure output specifications are met.
• Utilize remote diagnostic tools (e.g., IntelliMax, QlikSense) to monitor and repair systems.
• Document work thoroughly and submit timely reports.
• Provide on-site coaching and guidance to junior engineers as needed.
• Represent Elekta professionally and communicate clearly with clients to manage expectations.
• Participate in system installations and upgrades.

What you bring

• Engineering qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical disciplines.
• Experience in complex fault finding and maintenance of technical systems.
• Comfortable reading and interpreting electrical schematic diagrams.
• Experience working with service tools and systems/databases.
• A positive, adaptable mindset and willingness to travel at short notice.
• Clean driving license and ability to travel across Europe.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Strong IT skills (Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Networking).
