Field Service Engineer - LC/LCMS (Emilia Romagna, preferably Bologna) – Agilent is a global leader in laboratory and clinical technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our clients with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance and delivery of customer training on our liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (LC/LC-MS).

Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer needs by providing repair, installation, upgrade and preventive maintenance activities
  • Contact customers in a timely manner and schedule service efficiently
  • Connect with manager and sales team to understand and meet customer needs and expectations
  • Maintain Agilent’s customer service reputation by aligning with all corporate policies and procedures
  • Complete administrative paperwork and computer reports promptly and accurately
  • Provide feedback to Product Specialists, manufacturing or OEM vendors concerning performance anomalies and use the complaint handling system as required
  • Address customer requests for service and communicate proactively before, during and after service

For this role, you will be working remotely, combined with frequent travel to customer sites mainly in Emilia Romagna.

Qualifications
  • University degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or similar
  • Hands-on experience with LC/LC-MS, either in a technical support role or as an end user
  • Full proficiency in Italian and good level of English (especially reading and understanding)
  • A valid driving license

On a personal level, you are proactive, outgoing and customer oriented. You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team, to solve various types of problems. You have great communications and interpersonal skills to interact with many internal and external partners.
