Hey there and welcome to your new opportunity with us!

Being a Field Service Engineer (FSE) in Italy (possible locations are Rome / Lazio / Umbria / Marche) is an exciting role since you are the superhero our clients need. You will directly communicate with clients to ensure our solutions meet their needs. Here are your main responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of dispatched customer issues.
  • Support resources dispatched onsite by RFM during commissioning and on-site services.
  • Support the RFM / PjM during commissioning and site acceptance services.
  • Deliver support and contribute service solutions for our customers.
  • Perform all on-site installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance, testing, and upgrade activities.
  • Follow operational procedures, processes, and practices as defined and documented.
  • Follow applicable health and safety instructions and regulations.
  • Ensure up-to-date documentation, work instructions, and processes for existing and upcoming service contracts.
  • Support Europe Service Management by providing frequent and analytical service reports and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Support onsite resources (FSE and SP) during commissioning and on-site services.
  • Participate in claim management and RMA processes.
  • Manage service tools by ensuring proper calibration.
  • Take on call duties, including weekends and nights, as required.

Your profile

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Education as an Electrical Technician or Engineer, with knowledge of ACDC, Low/Medium Voltage, electrical conduits, etc.
  • Italian and English language skills at least at B2 level.
  • Experience with Battery Storage solutions is a plus.
  • Experience dealing with customers in critical situations.
  • A valid driving license.
  • H&S training for access to construction sites with electrical-specific training.
  • Willingness to work on-call and travel approximately 60% of the time.
