Overview

Join to apply for the Field Service Engineer - Italy (Milan) role at Sungrow Europe.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of dispatched customer issues.
• Support resources dispatched onsite by RFM during commissioning and on site services.
• Support the RFM/Project Manager during commissioning and site acceptance services.
• Deliver support and contribute service solutions for our customers.
• Perform all on site installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance and test tasks as well as upgrades or rework activities.
• Follow operational procedures, processes and practices as defined, documented and consistently applied.
• Follow the applicable health and safety instructions and regulations.
• Ensure up-to-date documentation, work instructions and processes for existing and coming service contracts and agreements.
• Support Europe Service Management by feeding back frequent and analytical service reports with each job and make suggestions for corrective activities.
• Support resources dispatched onsite (FSE and SP) by RFM during commissioning and on site services.
• Participate in the claim management and RMA process.
• Take care of service tools by ensuring an appropriate calibration process.
• Take on on-call duties, partly on weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• Education as Electrical Technician or Engineer. Knowledge of ACDC, Low/Medium Voltage and electrical conduits.
• Italian & English language skills at least on B2.
• Experience with Battery Storage solutions is beneficial.
• Experience dealing with customers in critical situations.
• Driving license is required.
• H&S training to access construction sites with electrical-specific training.
• Willing to work on-call duty and to travel (60%).
