Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Engineer Emilia Romagna to conduct service, repair and / or installation of products or IT solutions at customer sites, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts. Diagnoses system failures and determines cost-effective solutions. Escalates complex issues to higher levels of technical support or quality reporting system. May develop new customer service / product agreements. Responds to customer support calls within an assigned territory. This role requires critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical customer support and on-site assistance to hospital customers; assistance can occasionally occur during weekends and overnight.
• Escalate complex issues to higher level of technical support.
• Respond to customer support calls within an assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred or Biotech Technical / Electronic Secondary School Diploma
• Open to travel in Emilia Romagna; driving license is mandatory
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in English and Italian
• Able to work autonomously while also being a team player
