Job Title: Field Service Engineer Connected Care

Be the point of reference for our customers for technical aspects related to our Connected Care products.

Your role:

1. Clearly understand performance expectations in terms of technical services and support
2. Take local responsibility for the technical components of assigned Connected Care EDI project installs from start to completion
3. Participate in training programs to enhance technical and application skills
4. Interface with the Project Manager, Customer & Applications team and provide reports to Service Management, as requested
5. Meet or exceed performance expectations in the delivery of technical services and applications support
6. Provide assistance and advice to the local teams in connection with generating sales of Philips Connected Care solutions and EDI solutions
7. Provide technical advice on software and hardware upgrades
8. Provide technical advice on changes to setup and functionalities
9. Manage integrations between Connected Care devices and software components with 3rd party devices and software components used in Hospital EMR/HIS systems

You will be part of the Connected Care Customer Service Team.

You're the right fit if:

1. Educational background in Informatics (diploma or university degree)
2. Over 2 years experience in a similar role
3. Experience in database design, development, implementation, administration, data guard, backups, recovery, tuning
4. Development of simple integration components (COM object interfaces, Web interfaces, XML, HL7, etc.)
5. Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Server, VMware, and HyperV solutions
6. Understanding of Medical Standards: DICOM, HL7, and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise
7. Network knowledge
8. Strong troubleshooting and problem analysis skills
9. Excellent communication skills in Italian and English
10. Strong team player
