Job Title: Field Service Engineer Connected Care

Job Description: Be the point of reference for our customers for technical aspects related to our Connected Care products.

Your role:

• Clearly understand performance expectations in terms of technical services and support
• Take local responsibility for the technical components of assigned Connected Care EDI project installs from start to completion
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical and application skills
• Interface with the Project Manager, Customer & Applications team and provide reports to Service Management, as requested
• Meet or exceed performance expectations in the delivery of technical services and applications support
• Provide assistance and advice to the local teams in connection with generating sales of Philips Connected Care solutions EDI solutions
• Provide technical advice on software and hardware upgrades
• Provide technical advice on changes to setup and functionalities
• Manage integrations between Connected Care devices and software components to 3rd party devices and software components part of Hospital EMR /HIS

You will be part of the Connected Care Customer Service Team.

You're the right fit if:

• Educational background in Informatics (diploma or university degree)
• Over 2 years experience in a similar role
• Experience in database design and development, implementation/development, administration, dataguard, backups and recovery, tuning
• Development of simple integration components (COM object based interfaces, Web interfaces, XML, HL7, etc)
• Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Server, VMware and Hyper-V solutions
• Understanding/knowledge of Medical Standards: DICOM, Health Level Seven (HL7) and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise
• Network knowledge
• Demonstrated acumen for understanding applications, workflow and network environments
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem analysis skills
• Strong team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Italian and English
