Field Service Engineer (all genders)

We are looking for a candidate with laser experience to join our team of Service Specialists in Italy. You are a highly motivated team player, well-organized and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Ideally you have a technical degree in Computer Science and/or Electronics, with adequate work experience.
A good understanding of lasers and computer-controlled systems and proven practical experience is desirable. However, you will also receive some of the best service trainings in the industry. A high degree of self-organization and the ability to work independently at customer sites, occasionally meeting demanding deadlines, is a prerequisite.
You will be responsible for on-site and remote service, preventive maintenance, upgrades, and repair of our laser systems for our customers. You will work closely with our customers, Technical Support, Engineering and Administration teams. This position will be based at our head office in Monza. Travel will be mainly throughout Italy, and occasionally abroad.
Your main tasks will be:

1. Telephone and customer support
2. Installation and customer training in the use of laser systems
3. Preventive and corrective maintenance operations
4. Drawing up activity reports

Profile and skills:

1. Initial training in electrical engineering or industrial maintenance
2. Min. 5-7 yrs experience as a service technician in an industrial environment
3. Good knowledge of Windows-based systems would be a plus
4. A good level of English is required
5. Autonomy, initiative, rigor and good interpersonal skills are the main assets for this position
