The Opportunity

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer responsible for executing service work according to established workflows, standards, and safety guidelines.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Perform service tasks, troubleshoot, and analyze technical issues via remote or onsite activities across various service categories (installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, engineering, consulting, upgrades, retrofits, end-of-life services, replacements).
• Enhance customer satisfaction by delivering service work aligned with customer expectations.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their needs.
• Identify new sales opportunities and communicate them internally.
• Coordinate and ensure availability and quality of materials, parts, and equipment for service activities.
• Prepare documentation and reports for customer sign-off.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Proactively suggest product and quality improvements and communicate these within Hitachi Energy.
• Provide management with operational and customer service improvement recommendations.
• Follow safety protocols, report unsafe practices and incidents, and uphold environmental responsibilities.

Your Background

• Minimum 3 years of experience with high-voltage equipment.
• Proficiency in Italian and English.
• Willingness to travel within Italy.
