Service Team Leader

In this role, you will execute service work – installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades and retrofits – according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB processes, standards and safety guidelines. You will be part of Motion Traction Service team and work on traction and auxiliary converters and battery chargers. You will deliver excellent customer service by meeting customers’ needs, while maintaining good relationships with customers. You will work with others to identify new service business opportunities, helping to convince clients to take the complete service portfolio.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Motion Traction division, located in Genoa Italy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing remote or on-site service, solving technical problems, and preventing future equipment failures.

• Preparing materials, ensuring quality, and handling necessary documents and reports.

• Applying functional processes, maintaining high HSE standards, and eliminating unsafe practices.

• Suggesting enhancements for products, services, and customer experience, while collaborating with management.

Qualifications:

• You have At least 3 years of experience inField engineeringor commissioning and you are immersed in sound knowledge ofstatic converters, ideally on rolling stock applications railway market.

• Possess an enhanced knowledge ofstatic converters(DC/DC, Inverters,BatteryChargers) based on IGBT/MOSFET. Good knowledge of ABB platform components forTractiondivision (PEC, PEBB).

• You are passionate about A collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills.

• Technical Diploma or Engineering degree (electrical, electronic field).

• You are at ease communicating in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
