A leading vacuum technology company in Catania is seeking an Electronic/Electrical Expert to handle installations and maintenance of Pfeiffer Vacuum products. The ideal candidate has experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance and possesses strong communication skills in English and Italian. This role involves providing technical support to customers while maintaining strong relationships. Willingness to work on-call may be required.

Your role

• Pfeiffer Vacuum products Installations at our customer site
• Perform maintenance operations to meet customer’s requirements
• Manage installation and installed base
• Create service report and troubleshooting report
• Reporting and problem solving
• Provide on-site efficient service and technical support to customers.
• Tool operation and primary troubleshooting training to customer.
• Build-up good relationship with customer.
• Deliver regular preventive maintenance and trouble shooting at customer site.
• Support demonstration project on site check and applications recommendation
• Respect the customers’s EHS guidelines

Your background

• Electronic/Electrical Expert
• Would knowledge of the microelectronics cleanroom environment or equivalent.
• Ideally, you have initial experience and enjoy working in customer service on technically sophisticated products
• Experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance would be ideal
• Hands-on mentality and manual dexterity
• English and Italian language skills are required
• Independent and careful working style, initiative and willingness to learn are among your strengths
• Strong communication skills, customer-orientation and an impeccable appearance round off your qualification profile
• Ready to work in a clean room environment
• Willing to work on-call our of standard working hours or weekends as needed
