A leading vacuum technology provider in Catania, Italy is seeking an Electronic/Electrical Expert. This role involves installing products at customer sites, performing maintenance, and providing technical support in a cleanroom environment. Candidates should have experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance, strong communication skills, and be fluent in English and Italian. The position requires a hands-on mentality and the ability to work on-call as needed.

Competenze

• Knowledge of the microelectronics cleanroom environment is advantageous.
• Hands-on mentality and experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance are ideal.
• Fluent in English and Italian.

Your role

• Pfeiffer Vacuum products Installations at our customer site
• Perform maintenance operations to meet customer‘s requirements
• Manage installation and installed base
• Create service report and troubleshooting report
• Reporting and problem solving
• Provide on-site efficient service and technical support to customers.
• Tool operation and primary troubleshooting training to customer.
• Build-up good relationship with customer.
• Deliver regular preventive maintenance and trouble shooting at customer site.
• Support demonstration project on site check and applications recommendation
• Respect the customers’s EHS guidelines
  
  

Your background

• Electronic/Electrical Expert
• Would knowledge of the microelectronics cleanroom environment or equivalent.
• Ideally, you have initial experience and enjoy working in customer service on technically sophisticated products
• Experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance would be ideal
• Hands-on mentality and manual dexterity
• English and Italian language skills are required
• Independent and careful working style, initiative and willingness to learn are among your strengths
• Strong communication skills, customer-orientation and an impeccable appearance round off your qualification profile
• Ready to work in a clean room environment
• Willing to work on-call our of standard working hours or weekends as needed
