Job summary

Dürr Italy is seeking an AGV Service Technician to maintain, optimize and support conveyor systems in automotive paint shops and final assemblies. The first year centers on a major paint shop project in the Maranello region, aiding setup and ramp‑up of conveyors.

Thereafter, the role becomes field service across Italy and Europe, involving on‑site mechanical/electrical work, PLC programming, motion control, and system validation, with regular travel. Fluent English and Italian are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in conveyor systems or industrial automation.
• Strong PLC programming and commissioning knowledge.
• Experience with motion control and visualization interfaces.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Fluent in English and Italian.

Responsibilities

• Support ramp-up and production stand-by of conveyor systems in a new paint shop project.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting for conveyor technology (skids, elevators, roller beds, AGVs, etc.).
• Analyze and resolve mechanical and control-related issues on-site.
• Ensure reliable operation and performance of installed systems.
• Provide PLC programming and commissioning expertise.
• Program motion control and visualization interfaces.
• Collaborate with the engineering and sales teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Support customer training on system operation and maintenance.
• Document service activities and ensure transparency on technical status.
• Gradual development into AGV systems service and support.
• Travel to customer sites across Italy and Europe.
