Job Description
Responsibilities for Internal Candidates
- Manage sales of all customers within the territory, acting as the main contact for CooperVision, with the goal of achieving long-term, year-on-year sales growth and meeting sales targets.
- Handle daily management of the territory, customers, and CooperVision’s products and services.
- Develop and introduce new products to maximize opportunities.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of CooperVision’s products, clinical and technical details, market positioning, and brand messages to assist customers in choosing suitable products.
- Maintain a consistent number of customer contacts daily and monthly, optimizing travel to enhance prospecting and visit efficiency.
- Deliver training programs to retail staff, individually or with Professional Services, to improve product knowledge.
- Organize and execute clinical training with the Professional Services team to enhance clinical knowledge and build brand loyalty.
- Build strong relationships with Area Managers and Sales Representatives to support training and educational initiatives.
- Service the customer base and liaise with Customer Service to ensure high service levels.
- Represent the company at seminars, exhibitions, and meetings to enhance customer experience.
- Attend sales meetings to stay aligned with company direction and performance expectations.
- Complete all reporting and administrative duties accurately, including CRM updates and customer records.
- Perform other duties related to the company's business.
Qualifications for Internal Candidates
- Proven sales professional with experience managing large geographic areas.
- Ability to positively impact prospective and existing customers.
- Strong track record of achieving targets, with excellent interpersonal skills to influence at all management levels.
- Understanding of ROI, forecasting, and financial evaluation tools.
- Excellent listening, empathy, and investigative questioning skills.
- Proactive, capable of working independently and in teams, under pressure, and well-organized.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented with an entrepreneurial and adaptable mindset.
- High integrity, resilient, and trustworthy.
- Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM systems).
- Ability to understand highly technical material; English proficiency is a plus.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 4-5 years in a professional sales environment.
- Successful track record in organizations requiring strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the Optical or Pharmaceutical industry is beneficial.
